WRITING IN DEPTH will include manuscripts on Emotion and Consciousness; an experiential exploration of the first six months of early emotional development in the womb: Pre-Natal Emotional Development; an extension of essentially Reichian principles of psychopathology into the mass-social pathology of a culture: Mass Affective Psychology; and the delineation of an experiential or phenomenological epistemology - understanding the nature of life and existence through direct experience.
Other topics will include: critiques and constructive reframing of the traditional limitations of yoga praxis (especially as an ontended expansion or correction of the interaction of breath, emotion and sexuality as presented in the Tantra-Shastra, in traditional yoga-pranayama and conventional meditational practices); the identification and integration of multiple dimensions of experience and awareness, newly described as true dimensions of consciousness); studies of fixed- vs. free-ritual spiritual expression - which lead to an experientially based construct of free-ritual shamanism.
'MOVING THROUGH LAYERS OF LIFE AND DEATH - A VISUAL ETHNOGRAPHY OF BALINESE CREMATION RITUALS' is an unusually intimate and privileged photographic study (created 1977 & 1981)of the 'Bali ngaben' cremation ritual. The essays by the same title that will appear in this section will provide background and further information to add to the stand-alone image series (which includes its own descreiptive text.
